Reparability information
To help preserve the product over time and extend its useful life, B&B Italia supports, where technically feasible, the maintenance, repair and replacement of product components through its Customer Service department and network of authorised dealers.

How to Request Assistance
For information about product repairability, the availability of spare parts, the cost of any required work or the applicable service procedures, please contact B&B Italia Customer Service. Full contact details, including telephone number and email address, are available in the «Contacts» section of the B&B Italia website.
Alternatively, you may contact an authorised B&B Italia dealer. The list of authorised dealers is available in the «Store Locator» section.
Each request will be assessed on a case-by-case basis to identify the most appropriate solution, taking into account the specific characteristics and condition of the product.

Maintenance
Proper maintenance helps preserve the product’s quality, functionality and appearance over time.
Please follow the use and maintenance instructions provided by B&B Italia. Any maintenance or repair work must be carried out exclusively through service channels authorised by B&B Italia.

Always remember to be careful not to use the product improperly, considering its designated functions.

When the product is no longer used, do not abandon it, but take it to a suitable public waste collection facility.

Do not place the product in overly damp environments (e.g. saunas) and in direct contact with water (e.g. sea water, chlorinated water, snow).

Do not immerse in tanks and swimming pools, and do not place at the water’s edge.

Oil stains and suncare lotions must be immediately cleaned.

Due to prolonged exposure to direct sun light the surface may become hot to touch. Special attention required.

The surface of table top is treated by an impregnated product which leaves the material air-permeable but protects it instead from water and grease.
The product is resistant to UV radiations and abrasion and prevents degradation caused by freezing/thawing.

To maintain the quality and finish of the surface, it is advisable to use protective articles (e.g. placemats or trivets) under objects that could scratched it.

This product sheet complies with the legal obligations pursuant to the "Consumer Code" Decree n. 206 dated 6/9/2005 and the "Actuation Regulation" Decree n. 101 dated 8/2/1997.

We recommend cleaning with a damp cloth and a mild detergent and water solution.
Never use alcohol, solvents or abrasive products.
Only in the presence of marks or solidified stains, we recommend cleaning with a slightly abrasive sponge dampend with a mild detergent and water solution.
In case of stains caused by liquids and/or oily substances (e.g. lemon, vinegar, coffee, oil, wine), promptly pat and remove the dirt with an absorbent cloth to prevent it from immediately penetrating into the material.
Then, wipe the entire surface with a cloth dampened with warm water.
Ultra High Performance Concrete contains non-toxic structural polyethylene fibres, which have been added to the cementitious mixture to provide reinforcement.
The presence of these fibres on the surface is a typical characteristic of cement, and therefore must never be considered as a defect, but instead, an indication of quality. To limit this phenomenon, pass an abrasive disk (provided on request) over the fibres that appear on the surface of your cement product.
The particular pattern of the disk captures the fibres and cuts them off at the base.
Please remember, also, that sometimes crazing can occur on the surface of cement.
The growth of tiny surface cracks cannot be considered as a defect because cement is naturally inclined to age in this manner.
Therefore, it would be unrealistic for us to guarantee that this cement product will not form hairline cracks on the surface.

Designer

Vincent Van Duysen

Lucas School of Architecture, Ghent, he worked with Aldo Cibic in Milan, followed by a collaboration with Jean De Meulder in Antwerp, Belgium. In 1989, he established Vincent Van Duysen Architects. Today, the firm has grown into a team of about 40 collaborators with work ranging from product design and creative direction to hospitality-led projects, alongside commercial and residential architecture, in Belgium and across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and the United States. From the outset, Van Duysen has defined a close relationship between architecture, interior, and product design, allowing subtle transitions between these disciplines to shape his projects and guide a constant search for essence. Through pure, tactile materials and a deep respect for context and tradition, his work results in clean, timeless spaces that prioritize sensory experience, functionality, durability, comfort, and an aesthetic that deliberately avoids fleeting trends. Over the years, he has engaged in long standing collaborations with brands such as Molteni&C, Flos, Kettal, Kvadrat, Mutina, Serax, Sutherland, Zanotta, Fantini, B&B Italia, Zara Home, and more. In 2016, Van Duysen was appointed Creative Director of the Italian brand Molteni&C. In this role, he has overseen the brand’s creative vision across multiple scales, coordinating architecture, interiors, product development and communication, and contributing to the definition of a coherent and internationally recognizable identity. During his career, Van Duysen has received multiple awards among which the Flemish Culture Prize for Design, Belgian Designer of the Year and the Henry van de Velde Lifetime Achievement Award, and an EDIDA for Best Interior Designer of the Year. In 2021, the Winery VV has also been nominated and shortlisted for the Mies Van Der Rohe Award. His name has been featured on Architectural Digest’s AD100 survey and the Elle Decor A-List on multiple occasions. For many years, Van Duysen’s work has been appearing on a number of prestigious international publications. Starting from 1994, his projects and realizations have also been featured in different monographs among which those edited by renowned publishing house Thames & Hudson, with a third one to be released in Fall 2026. In 2024, “Vincent Van Duysen: Private”, a new personal look into the architect’s residences, has been published by Rizzoli with photography by François Halard.
