    Maintenance
    Marble (polyester)
    • For normal maintenance, we advise using a microfibre cloth damp with warm water.
    • In case of stains caused by liquids and/or greasy substances, blot/remove the stain immediately and then wipe the entire surface with a cloth damp with warm water.
    • Never use solvents or abrasive detergents, and always avoid contact with very hot objects (e.g. flatware, coffee pots, teapots).
    • To maintain the quality and finish of the surface over time, it is advisable to use protection on the surface (e.g. placemats or trivets) under objects that could scratch it.
    • Warning! Marbles with polyester can turn yellow if exposed to constant sunlight and/or high temperatures and humidity.

    Marble (natural)
    • For normal maintenance, we advise using a microfibre cloth damp with warm water.
    • In case of stains caused by liquids and/or greasy substances, blot/remove the stain immediately and then wipe the entire surface with a cloth damp with warm water.
    • Never use solvents or abrasive detergents, and always avoid contact with very hot objects (e.g. flatware, coffee pots, teapots).
    • To maintain the quality and finish of the surface over time, it is advisable to use protection on the surface (e.g. placemats or trivets) under objects that could scratch it.
    • Warming! Natural marbles are not finished in any way, therefore it is possible to notice filled cracks on the product.

    Glass
    • Dust the entire surface carefully to remove any dust (use a soft white cloth).
    • We advise using normal commercial products for cleaning delicate surfaces.
    • Rub the surface to be cleaned gently without concentrating just on the area requiring attention: start instead with a larger section and gradually work your way towards the area in the middle.
    • That way, you will avoid rings or scratches forming, which may be produced if you apply too much pressure to the surface.
    • Never use solvents or abrasive detergents.

Cover (Alfa, Beta, Gamma, Koto leather)
    • For regular cleaning, we recommend a weekly dusting with a soft cotton cloth. If the cover is stained, promptly remove the cause and dry the affected area.
    • Finally, wipe with a sponge dampened with water and mild detergent (or water and milk).
    • Wipe with a gentle circular motion and work from the outside of the stain toward the inside.
    • The action should be more like a skin massage than mechanical rubbing.
    • Before applying any product over broad areas, it is advisable to test the effectiveness of the procedure by applying the product on a small, hidden area, even though the product may be specifically designed for the material.
    • After cleaning, apply a solution of water and milk to restore the protective qualities and softness of the leather.
    • Remember that leather treated with aniline is highly absorbent and may require more frequent cleaning when subjected to heavy-duty use in high-traffic areas.
    • Two or three times a year, we recommend applying products included in the 'Kit for leather maintenance and cleaning' by B&B Italia (code SETPN) using a soft cloth. The kit is available from our Stores and dealers.

    Cover (Kasia leather)
    • Regularly clean with a soft, dry cotton cloth to release the dust from the pores. Avoid strenuous rubbing.
    • If the cover is stained, immediately pat the stain with a paper towel or dry cloth. Try to absorb the stain without vigorous rubbing.
    • Never apply a liquid on this leather - not even detergent specially designed for cleaning it.
    • For further information on Kasia leather, kindly read the attached brochure.

    Aluminium - Steel
    • We advise using normal commercial products for cleaning delicate surfaces and/or warm water and neutral soap.
    • Never use abrasives or products containing solvents, ammonia and/or alcohol.
    • Make sure to dry the surfaces completely after washing.
