Unpack the carpet immediately after receipt.

In case of bad weather, take the product to a covered place protected from the weather.

Do not place the product in overly damp environments (e.g. saunas) and in direct contact with water (e.g. sea water, chlorinated water, snow).

Do not immerse in tanks and swimming pools, and do not place at the water’s edge.

Oil stains and suncare lotions must be immediately cleaned.

Carpet (polypropylene - polyolefin)

When you first open the carpet, it may present waves on the surface and an irregular perimeter.
These issues will normalise with use or by manipulating the carpet slightly.
Keep the carpet in a dry ventilated place during winter or when not in use.
The carpet can be rinsed with a normal garden hose.
Be careful if using a pressure washer because excessive pressure or being too close to the carpet can permanently damage the interlacing fibres and the seams.
To maintain the original conditions and look, and to prevent dust and dry dirt from accumulating and sinking into the interlacing fibres, it is important to vacuum the carpet regularly or brush it with soft bristle brushes.
Act quickly if stains happen, because it is important to prevent substances from penetrating into the fibres. If you intervene quickly, it is possible to clean and remove the stain completely.
Non-oily stains: use any type of detergent diluted in hot water and blot the stain with a damp cloth or sponge, working from the outside of the stain inwards. Do not rub. Do not exert too much mechanical pressure. Do not use stain removers. When the stain has been removed, rinse with plenty of water.
If using a detergent containing bleach, make sure that no traces of bleach remain in direct contact with sunlight.
Oily stains: In case of oily stains (e.g. creams, oil, lipstick, butter), we advise removing the material with a spoon or blade (if necessary) while being very careful to not ruin the fibres in the interlacing.
Stains can then be removed by blotting with a cloth or sponge moistened with acetone, working from the outside of the stain inwards. Do not rub. Do not exert too much mechanical pressure. Do not use stain removers.
After removing the stain, clean the area with a detergent diluted in water and rinse with plenty of water.
The dimensions might not be totally exact, which means that slight variations (until about 6 cm) in dimensions may occur.
