    B&B Italia guarantees the cover, the feet, the materials, accessories and mechanisms making up the product for 26 months from the date of manufacture (as stated on the "Product data sheet - Guarantee") against any manufacturing defect including lacquering and frame of non-upholstery products.

    In any case, it has to be pointed out that the materials, even if adequately lightfast to sunlight and artificial light, may be subject to alterations over time due to prolonged exposure to light, washing and ordinary mechanical wear.

    The guarantee refers to original product manufacturing defects and consists of replacement or repair, free of charge, of the unusable or defective parts, ascertained and acknowledged as such by B&B Italia or its representative.

    The guarantee does not cover anomalies and spoilage due to:

    • normal wear over time;
    • illegitimate use;
    • inappropriate care with treatments not complying with the enclosed instructions.

    Moreover, the guarantee does not cover defects of non-compliance that cannot be attributed to B&B Italia (e.g. incorrect assembling of the product and/or assembling not complying with the assembling instructions).

    This provision also applies to those products that are designed to be installed directly by the consumer, in the presence of correct and exhaustive instructions.

    The guarantee shall be forfeited if the products are unassembled, modified or repaired by anyone who is not authorised by B&B Italia.

    Any intervention made in guarantee does not interrupt the course thereof.

    To exercise the rights deriving from this guarantee, the relevant "Product data sheet - Guarantee" shall be forwarded to B&B Italia (to the address stated below) bearing the date of manufacture; said "Product data sheet - Guarantee" shall therefore be retained for the entire period during which the guarantee is valid.

    Designer
    Vincent Van Duysen
    Pablo Outdoor
    Lucas School of Architecture, Ghent, he worked with Aldo Cibic in Milan, followed by a collaboration with Jean De Meulder in Antwerp, Belgium. In 1989, he established Vincent Van Duysen Architects. Today, the firm has grown into a team of about 40 collaborators with work ranging from product design and creative direction to hospitality-led projects, alongside commercial and residential architecture, in Belgium and across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and the United States. From the outset, Van Duysen has defined a close relationship between architecture, interior, and product design, allowing subtle transitions between these disciplines to shape his projects and guide a constant search for essence. Through pure, tactile materials and a deep respect for context and tradition, his work results in clean, timeless spaces that prioritize sensory experience, functionality, durability, comfort, and an aesthetic that deliberately avoids fleeting trends. Over the years, he has engaged in long standing collaborations with brands such as Molteni&C, Flos, Kettal, Kvadrat, Mutina, Serax, Sutherland, Zanotta, Fantini, B&B Italia, Zara Home, and more. In 2016, Van Duysen was appointed Creative Director of the Italian brand Molteni&C. In this role, he has overseen the brand’s creative vision across multiple scales, coordinating architecture, interiors, product development and communication, and contributing to the definition of a coherent and internationally recognizable identity. During his career, Van Duysen has received multiple awards among which the Flemish Culture Prize for Design, Belgian Designer of the Year and the Henry van de Velde Lifetime Achievement Award, and an EDIDA for Best Interior Designer of the Year. In 2021, the Winery VV has also been nominated and shortlisted for the Mies Van Der Rohe Award. His name has been featured on Architectural Digest’s AD100 survey and the Elle Decor A-List on multiple occasions. For many years, Van Duysen’s work has been appearing on a number of prestigious international publications. Starting from 1994, his projects and realizations have also been featured in different monographs among which those edited by renowned publishing house Thames & Hudson, with a third one to be released in Fall 2026. In 2024, “Vincent Van Duysen: Private”, a new personal look into the architect’s residences, has been published by Rizzoli with photography by François Halard.
