    Maintenance
    Cover
    • For home washing of covers, follow the symbols on the technical sheet that came with the product.
    • Periodically adjust the Velcro fasteners to remove folds and creases due to normal use of the product.
    • If there are no Velcro fasteners, smooth the cover manually from the inside towards the outside.
    • For ordinary cleaning, dust with a soft dry cotton cloth.
    • If liquids should accidentally fall on the surface, remove them immediately and dry with paper towels.
    • The surface can then be cleaned with a white cotton or microfibre cloth, slightly damp with water and neutral soap, and then dried in a well-ventilated place.
    • In case of stains, act immediately to blot the stain with a clean white cloth and, if necessary, remove the dirt with a spoon or knife, using the flat part horizontally and being very careful to not ruin the cover.
    • Dab the stain from the outer edges inward to avoid rings.
    • All actions must be done with circular movements, without exerting excessive mechanical pressure.
    • Our Stores and dealers sell the specific 'Kit for leather maintenance and cleaning' by B&B Italia (code SETPN), which contains products suitable for the protection and cleaning of your leather product.

    Upholstery
    • Manually punch the cushions on all sides, fluff them up to air the padding and restore the original volume.
    • For best results, remove the cushion covers regularly, knead and fluff up the padding, and air it possibly outdoors before slipping on the cover once again.
    • If possible, periodically change the position of the most used cushions with the less used ones.

    Plastic material - Thermoplastic material
    • We advise using normal commercial products for cleaning delicate surfaces and/or warm water and neutral soap.
    • Never use abrasives or products containing solvents, ammonia and/or alcohol.
    • Make sure to dry the surfaces completely after washing.

    Glass
    • Dust the entire surface carefully to remove any dust (use a soft white cloth).
    • We advise using normal commercial products for cleaning delicate surfaces.
    • Rub the surface to be cleaned gently without concentrating just on the area requiring attention: start instead with a larger section and gradually work your way towards the area in the middle.
    • That way, you will avoid rings or scratches forming, which may be produced if you apply too much pressure to the surface.
    • Never use solvents or abrasive detergents.

    Marble (polyester)
    • For normal maintenance, we advise using a microfibre cloth damp with warm water.
    • In case of stains caused by liquids and/or greasy substances, blot/remove the stain immediately and then wipe the entire surface with a cloth damp with warm water.
    • Never use solvents or abrasive detergents, and always avoid contact with very hot objects (e.g. flatware, coffee pots, teapots).
    • To maintain the quality and finish of the surface over time, it is advisable to use protection on the surface (e.g. placemats or trivets) under objects that could scratch it.
    • Warning! Marbles with polyester can turn yellow if exposed to constant sunlight and/or high temperatures and humidity.

    Steel
    • We advise using normal commercial products for cleaning delicate surfaces and/or warm water and neutral soap.
    • Never use abrasives or products containing solvents, ammonia and/or alcohol.
    • Make sure to dry the surfaces completely after washing.

George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg founded their studio in 1980 with an emphasis on interior design and have since expanded the firm into a multidisciplinary practice.

With offices in New York and Toronto and a team of more than a hundred creatives and professionals, they design places and products: buildings, interiors, landscapes, lighting, furniture, objects, and graphics, with a focus that goes well beyond what things look like, to how they make people feel. The firm and founders have earned many honours, including being appointed Officers of the Order of Canada, inducted into the Interior Design Hall of Fame, and named among the world’s most influential design studios by prestigious international magazines.

The studio collaborates with leading hotel and resort brands, developers, retailers, restaurateurs, manufacturers, entrepreneurs and creative individuals looking to stand apart from the crowd.
