    • Due to prolonged exposure to direct sun light the surface may become hot to touch. Special attention required.

    Maintenance
    Cristalplant®
    • Ordinary cleaning ensures that Cristalplant® maintains its original beauty and prevents signs of wear over time.
    • Simply clean the product using soapy water or common detergents to remove most stains and dirt that may be deposited on the surface.
    • Gel or abrasive detergents are particularly recommended, provided that particular care is taken to rinse the surface carefully and if the abrasive sponge provided is used. In this way, the original opaque finish will be maintained, which is a distinguishing characteristic of the product.
    • For small damaged areas, the surface can be restored by polishing the damaged part using the abrasive sponge provided or very fine sandpaper.
    • Use cream or powder detergents that contain micro granules that abrade the surface (e.g. Cif, Jif Active).
    • Denatured ethyl alcohol can be used, provided that particular care is taken to rinse the surface thoroughly.
    • Do not use solvents like acetone or trichloroethylene, or other aggressive chemical substances like strong acids (hydrochloric acid) or strong bases (caustic soda).
    • To repair more serious damage, like chips, we advise using the Cristalplant® maintenance kit that is available through the B&B Italia Stores and dealers.

    Cover cloth
    • Elasticised technical textile, waterproof, developed to protect furniture from weather when not in use.
    • If condensation forms under the cloth, it will not damage product quality.
    • Wash the cloth according to the instructions printed on the underside of the cloth and let dry completely in the open air before storing in a closed place in order to prevent mould from forming.
    • When the product is no longer used, do not abandon it, but take it to a suitable public waste collection facility.
    • Always remember to be careful not to use the product improperly, considering its designated functions.
